employees, employers, and society in general
• You must include a thesis statement
• Make sure if you have selected a broad topic, you narrow down your essay into a
focused point you are looking to prove in your paper
• End with a powerful conclusion/recommendation
• Can use relevant news stories/social media/etc.
• Must clearly reference theory from textbook to support your
views/opinions/recommendations + minimum of two other reliable sources
• Must be written in a five-paragraph essay style- NO HEADINGS, BULLET
POINTS or CHARTS (Can use Word or Google Docs, double-spaced, Arial or
Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1 inch margins, title page, reference page,
proper grammar and spelling
