This final exam assignment will be an essay final. Support your points using visual examples from the course including media, pop culture, artists, art history, or using new concepts. Use examples and ideas from our Module lessons or textbook, and a little more research (if you feel it is needed) to answer your chosen question. Show me what you learned!
- Write a 750-1000 word (4 full pages double-spaced) essay using Microsoft Word with Times New Roman font, 12 pt. double-spaced. Please use Chicago Style (with footnotes and bibliography), or MLA (author last name parenthetical
citations and Works Cited page)-follow the reference style closely to show me proper citations and references for all ideas you use from the course lessons, textbook or any other research. - Include at least 4 research sources in your Bibliography or Works Cited page at the end.
⚫ Include your images at the end and indicate them with figure numbers (fig. 1 etc).
⚫ Research sources can include our online lesson content, article links and videos from this course, your textbook chapters, and any additional research you might do. Most of your essay content should easily be found in Lessons, visual culture examples in lessons, and the textbook, no need for much outside research.
Exam essays MUST:
- include true footnote/citations and bibliography or you risk being flagged for plagiarism and academic dishonesty. Make footnotes for any ideas and sentences from research (even if you change the words the idea is still from research and it needs a footnote). It is better to cite too much than not enough.
