Complete the following schedules using content from your course textbook, lectures and
additional resources provided. No other sources are needed, nor should they be used (i.e.,
online live bracket website). Please submit as a PDF.
Part 1 – 10 marks
Using the techniques discussed in class, draft a 12 team (6 station) rotation schedule to ensure
each team competes once at each station. Allow 15 minutes/station and schedule the first
round to start at 10:00 am.
Part 2 – 10 marks
Select a sport of your choice that would easily be suited to a challenge tournament schedule.
Discuss what type of challenge schedule you would select (do not use a rotation schedule) and
provide rationale for your choice. List the rules of play for your challenge schedule.
Part 3 – 15 marks (5 marks per schedule)
Access the website explained in class to draft complete tournament schedules for the below
three tournaments.
- Single Elimination with 7 entries, 1 playing area/location.
- Multi Level with 8 entries, 2 playing areas/locations.
- Double Elimination with 10 entries (template provided, not on website)
Assume all games last 1 hour. For purposes of this assignment, you determine name of
tournament, sport or activity to be played, actual game days and game times, team/individual
names, and location names. Please be sure to determine winners (play the tournament out).
Part 4 – 15 marks
View the round robin completed template (below) and finish the results of the tournament.
Once completed, answer the questions, and decide how a winner will be determined.

and rules if three teams are tied. You should have at least three (3) methods to break a tie
in the event it cannot be determined with your first rule.

c) Now that teams are ranked (1-6), how will you proceed to declare a champion? You cannot
just declare a champion based on the round robin results. Consider playing additional
