What I consider for these essay assignments are similar to the written assignments.  I consider the accuracy of facts, and whether or not the student included the various elements I suggest should be considered (comprehensiveness) in their answer.  I also consider the student’s writing ability (punctuation, grammar, APA referencing), and whether or not the answer has been clearly articulated, and in the students own words. Lastly, I consider whether or not the student followed the assignment instructions.

1. Accuracy of facts = 15 marks

2. Comprehensiveness = 15 marks

3. Writing (punctuation/grammar/proper APA referencing) = 10 marks

4. Answer is clearly articulated, and in the student’s own words = 10 marks

5. Following instructions: PDF, APA format, word count (500 – 750 words) = 10 marks
